About
A native New Yorker with a dancer’s discipline and an actor’s heart, I took my first steps on stage before I could spell “choreography”. A career in professional dance wasn’t in the stars, so I pivoted to acting and neer looked back. I earned my BFA in Acting from West Virginia University and after graduation headed to New York City to deepen my craft, where I was fortunate enough to study with incredible teachers like June Stein, Bob Krakower, and The Barrow Group.
In 2011, I stepped behind the scenes and discovered a new creative love: directing. Since then, I’ve juggled auditioning, coaching, and directing with equal parts passion and caffeine. When I’m not coaching actors, I’m teaching them at Take 2 Actor’s Studio in Huntington, NY.
Home is Long Island, where I live with my husband (actor Jason Moreland), our amazing son Shane, and our Golden Retriever, Ranger. I’m a lifelong theater nerd with an unshakeable love for storytelling in all its forms.
