Testimonials
As a film school kid, I was taught that nothing mattered beyond the director’s vision - that actors were merely props in service of a larger picture. Working with Lynn over the past two years has completly transformed that perspective. As someone transitioning from behind the camera to performing on stage and screen, her coaching has been nothing short of invaluable.
Under Lynn’s guidance, I’ve learned to uncover the core of a scene, tap into the emotional truth of a character, and access parts of myself needed to bring that character to life. She empowers actors to discover their own voice, helping each person connect authentically to the work and deliver a powerful, grounded performance.
Lynn’s deep curiosity about human nature allows her to tailor her approach to each individual. She instinctively knows how to guide you toward the inner space required to serve the story and the role. Whether it’s breaking down scenes or preparing for auditions, Lynn has helped me unlock parts of my craft I didn’t know existed. She’s taught me to trust my instincts and embrace the freedom to play.
Anyone willing to take the leap will find that Lynn doesn’t just coach actors - she transforms them.

Working with Lynn on Doubt, A Parable was a truly enriching experience that deepened my respect for the craft of acting and the power of thoughtful direction. Lynn is an incredibly insightful director whose guidance is rooted in a profound understanding of the text and an unwavering commitment to honoring the playwright’s vision. What sets her apart is the way she creates a collaborative and respectful rehearsal environment where actors feel both supported and challenged to explore their roles with depth and honesty. Her direction never feels prescriptive - instead, she invites discovery, gently steering each performer toward more nuanced, truthful choices that serve both character and story. Lynn’s attention to detail, emotional intelligence, and ability to bring out the best in her cast make her an extraordinary artistic leader and a joy to work with.

When I began my acting journey with Lynn over five years ago, I was in need of direction and support. Though I was extremely passionate about my craft, I carried the wrong mindset and hadn’t yet found a teacher I could fully connect with and could meet me where I was at. Meeting Lynn marked a turning point for me. She taught me in a way that resonated with who I was and how I learned, and allowed me to grow not just as an actor, but as a person. Under her guidance I discovered there is no one-size-fits-all approach to acting and that realization shifted everything for me. Lynn is more than just a teacher, she genuinely wants wants you to learn and succeed and is your biggest advocate. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking to grow - not only as an actor, but as an individual.

Lynn’s approach to coaching an actor is refreshingly reforming. She encourages the actor to delve deeper and connect to their humanity in a safe/secure space. In the course of my career, I have worked with Tony award winning actors as well as Oscar award winning directors and I hold what Lynn does at the same level. If you have the opportunity to work with Lynn, please take it, absorb it, and allow it to propel you forward in your work and your life.
-Scott Joseph Butler - Actor, B.A. and M.F.A. Acting, Usui Reiki Master
I had the distinct please of working with Lynn on the play POTUS. A monolith of a show described by the NY Post as “if the West Wing snorted a line of coke before the curtain went up”. The pace is lightning fast, the language is articulate, crass, and over the top, and the physical elements range from projectile vomiting to fist fighting, all at a breakneck speed. Now try to choreograph this all in a space that is no more than 50 square feet. When I say Lynn’s execution of this was masterful, I am not being histrionic.
As a director, Lynn’s clear vision was always articulated in a fun, succinct, and kind way. She has the ability to put her actors at ease both onstage and off, fostering relationships that last far beyond the show’s closing. She always encourages her actors to experiment, to have fun, to take risks and every time, those things are met with enthusiasm. Her confidence in us pushed us past what we thought our limits were, resulting in one of the most well received shows I’ve ever been a part of.
An actor herself, she is acutely aware of what it takes to create a character and realistically work together on stage. It truly is a master class watching her work; she is whip smart, talented, quick…the adjectives go on and on and they’re all true. If you have the opportunity to work with Lynn count yourself lucky, and jump at the chance!
